This season’s first event on October 30 was at SaddleBrooke Vistas and featured the TSO String Quartet and a fabulous Oktoberfest dinner.
November 14 the concert at the Music Hall features the young pianist Jon Nakamatsu playing Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No. 3 and Peter Bay conducting Dvorak’s Symphony No. 7. Bus transportation and dinner at Café a La C’arte is included. Call Vikki Williams at 825-0527 for reservations.
January 16 is the Desert Song Festival Concert with George Hanson conducting, with guest soloists and the TSO Chorus. Concert includes Poulenc: Gloria and Strauss: Don Juan and Der Rosenkavalier. Bus transportation and dinner at Carrabba’s is provided. Call the Saunders at 825-3425 for information and reservations.
February 2 we’ll have dinner at SaddleBrooke Vistas and hear the TSO Wind Quintet perform for us. You need not be a Guild member to attend this event. The Lindquists are taking reservations for this event at 818-9232.
February 28 the Texas Tenors will entertain us at the Music Hall. Wine and cheese will be included with the bus trip. Call Carol Erie at 850-7643 for information and reservations.
March 15 matinee is Mahler Symphony No. 3 with the TSO Chorus and the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus. This is George Hanson’s final concert with TSO. Dinner following at Guiseppe’s and bus transportation are included. Call Lynda Saunders at 825-3425 for information and reservations.

The SaddleBrooke Symphony Guild was formed in 2000 to provide residents the opportunity to strengthen our community’s awareness and support of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and to facilitate opportunities for members to attend TSO events.
