On March 28, five SaddleBrooke hikers ventured up the Sutherland Trail in Catalina State Park. The day brought pleasantly cool temperatures and a few high clouds. For hikers, these conditions were perfect. Each hiker had been out on trails recently and looked forward to viewing the beautiful wildflowers this spring has produced. The scene did not disappoint. New and different blooms filled in spaces between those already there. The slow pace allowed for many photos. When they reached the big rock past the gate, the group stopped for lunch/snack and enjoyed the music of the water flowing over the rocks. It was hard to leave.
