The SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club wholeheartedly welcomed its newest club president, Bob Lamar, at the club’s regular meeting on July 17. Mr. Lamar was officially installed by Ms. Aleta M. Wiener, District 5500 Assistant Governor for Area 6, and pinned by his lovely wife Susan. Bob has been an active participant in Rotary activities over the six months since he joined this club, as well as over the six years he served with the Rotary Club of Leavenworth, Wash.
The club also thoroughly thanks outgoing president Maggie De Block for her outstanding service over the past year. Maggie will continue to be involved in numerous club activities, even as she passes on the reins.
The club meets in SaddleBrooke Ranch the first and third Thursdays of every month and participates in a variety of local service projects throughout the year. If you would like to come see what the club is all about, please email saddlebrookesunriserotary@gmail.com for more information.
