Michiganders, you have only until Friday, January 17, 2014, to get your tickets to our February 1, 2014, Michigan Party. If they haven’t already done so, please tell your Michigan friends to buy their tickets before the deadline.
Our Michigan Party will be held in the newly renovated MountainView Ballroom and will start at 5:45 p.m. with a cash bar and time to socialize and view some beautiful pictures of our Great Lakes State before dinner. Starting at 6:30 p.m., Chef Robert, a Michigan man, will be serving us a very special Michigan themed buffet dinner. It will include a salad with Michigan cherry and blueberry dressing, pasties, Harsens Island cracker crusted whitefish, chicken scaloppini with asparagus and a surprise Michigan dessert. Following dinner we’ll learn some things about our flag, play some Michigan Trivia and discover that you might be a Michigander if. We’ll end the evening with dancing and more socializing.
The Michigan Party tickets are $30.00 a person. This ticket price covers the cost of dinner including tip and taxes and dancing with DJ Ken Holland. The $30.00 ticket price will also help us cover all the other expenses involved with putting on this party such as decorations, name tags, a ticket sale fee and many other miscellaneous items.
The tickets can be purchased between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the HOA 2 Administrative Office. The Administrative Office’s address is 38735 S. MountainView and it is located on the west end of the HOA 2 Clubhouse. You must come in person to purchase your ticket as there will not be any online ticket sales. You can pay for the tickets by cash, check or credit card.
When you purchase your tickets, you will be asked to fill out a short form giving us some information for your name tag, including your Michigan hometown. We will assign tables to the attendees. If you have a strong preference for sitting with people you know, we will accommodate you. However, before asking us to do so, think about how much fun you will have meeting fellow Michiganders that you haven’t previously met.
Based on ticket sales to date, we are going to have a great turnout! If you have ever lived, worked or attended school in Michigan, please join us for what is sure to be a fun filled evening.
