The SilverBelles dance group and a very special guest entertained residents at the Canyon Valley Memory Care facility last month.
After a variety of dances, including the very popular New York, New York which had residents singing along, Lloyd Maritz reprised his soliloquy I Wish I Was 18 Again from the SaddleBrooke Variety Show last year as well as a vaudeville verbal tongue twister routine that had everyone laughing. This gave the Belles some much needed time to change into their red sequined dresses for their final dance number Hey Daddy, which was also featured in the Variety Show.
The SilverBelles have performed several times at this facility and are always happy to return and visit with the wonderful residents and caretakers there. If you would like us to perform at your venue please contact Ann Kurtz at 825-5401, Vivian Herman at 818-2552 or Linda Schuttler at 468-3545. We can be booked for holiday functions, birthday parties or unit get-togethers. Because we enjoy entertaining in our community, we do not charge for performances. However, we do happily accept donations to help cover some of our expenses.
