Join us for the second SaddleBrooke Showcase of Talent on Monday, March 27. This show will be produced and directed by Walter Fritz, with the assistance of Carol Jones. Featured will be the Coyote Country Cloggers, master of ceremonies Ron Aeschliman, pianist and singer Linda Griffin, folk singer Susan Kravitz and country singer Bob Stiens.
Walter Fritz moved to SaddleBrooke after teaching for the Department of Defense in Bahrain, Japan and Germany. Fritz is heavily involved in Gaslight Music Hall productions as producer, director and technician. Fritz was producer and director for the first Showcase of Talent and will again demonstrate his many talents at the second Showcase.
Ron Aeschliman moved to SaddleBrooke 16 years ago. He has been involved in music his entire life and continues to display his talent at variety shows, memorial services and weddings. He is coordinator of the Karaoke program at SaddleBrooke One and director of music for Community Church in SaddleBrooke.
The Coyote Country Cloggers have been entertaining across Arizona for more than 21 years and in Las Vegas and Nashville. They participated in 10 SaddleBrooke Variety Shows, clogging to country western, bluegrass, patriotic and gospel music and at retirement homes, bluegrass festivals, home shows and schools.
Linda Griffin is known in SaddleBrooke as a musician and literature professor. She plays piano, harp and classical guitar; additionally, she sings and was director of the SaddleBrooke Singers for 10 years. She has taught literature courses for the Institute of Learning in Retirement in SaddleBrooke for many years. She was Musical Director for the SaddleBrooke Variety Shows for several years and also wrote two of its productions. Next spring she will again be Musical Director of the 2018 Variety Show.
Susan Kravitz is a musician and musicologist whose love of music has traversed her life. Retiring to SaddleBrooke in 2009, Susan studied musicology and taught music courses in the Institute of Learning in Retirement. She is the Music Specialist in the pre-school at Anshei Israel Synagogue in Tucson and Creative Arts Specialist in their Youth Program.
Bob Stiens has been entertaining people with his classic country and rock and roll music for many years. Wearing his signature black cowboy hat, he sings at the clubhouses and restaurants in SaddleBrooke and at unit parties and birthday celebrations. His deep rich voice makes him a favorite in SaddleBrooke.
The Gaslight Music Hall in Oro Valley will present the second SaddleBrooke Showcase of Talent on Monday, March 27.
