Several CycleMasters rode the Tour de Cookie, an annual fundraising event of the Rotary Club of Marana. The 35-mile round-trip ride was on The Loop river bike path. It was a cool and cloudy Arizona day but by wearing multiple layers, everyone did fine. Along the route, bicyclists stopped at 12 stations that were handing out cookies. Who can resist cookies, especially homemade ones!
These cookie stations were sponsored by local community organizations and businesses. The Rotary Club supports many local, national, and international service projects. Proceeds of this year’s event went to The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (TRVFA), and More Than a Bed.
