The SaddleBrooke Women’s Golf Classic was held at MountainView Golf Club on May 13 and was co-chaired by MPWGA members Karen Erickson and Sharon Marchione. Special thanks to the event sponsors Wildfire Wing Company, Weathersby Windows, and Sonora Investment Management.
Early May had its share of Red Flag Warnings, due to gusty winds. Noted Erickson, “We had 120 players from SaddleBrooke Ranch, SaddleBrooke One, and MountainView/The Preserve. The wind was not our friend; however, everyone seemed to have a good time, and it’s a fun tournament for the three clubs.” Final results were announced at lunch following the event in the MountainView ballroom. Result payouts were flighted, with flights having a mix of players from the three clubs.
