SaddleBrooke Stroke/Neurological Support group

It’s time to take care of yourself. It’s something we who are caregivers often forget to do. We are so busy trying to meet the needs of our loved ones who are suffering from dementia, MS, stroke, Alzheimer’s and other neurological disorders that we forget about how to recharge ourselves.

One way is to come to our meeting Friday, July 19, at The Preserve Clubhouse, Room 2 at 10:00 a.m., to listen and learn the various warning signs of many of these disorders that are so similar in nature, with emphasis on Alzheimer’s.

Learn what to do, where to go for help, how to keep the stress levels under control and how to find support by learning from others who have passed through these troubling times.

For those that wish to stay and have lunch, we proceed to The Preserve dining room by noon to have lunch, continuing to share any further discussions.

RSVP, please, to Marilyn Sellers at 818-0965 or [email protected].

Upcoming meetings: August 16, September 20, October 16.
