The ALS Foundation is the one organization whose goal is to fight and eliminate Lou Gehrig’s disease. Last year’s Ice Bucket Challenge, for the first time, generated significant funds for research. Already there are discoveries being made in the laboratories, but much work remains before we will have a treatment, a cure or a method of prevention. We so much appreciate the donations of our friends. We had a small walking team from SaddleBrooke this year and look forward to larger participation next year.
