The four teams fielded by SaddleBrooke Pickleball Association, Inc., have begun competing in matches in the Arizona Pickleball Players League. The Flying Burrito Brothers team (3.5 65+ men) defeated the Ranch Wranglers2 team from SaddleBrooke Ranch by a score of 30 points to 15 points on Jan. 2. On Jan. 3 the Dill Me In team (3.0 65+ women) overwhelmed the Volley Llamas by a score of 36 to 6. The Soft Serve team (4.0 65+ women) fell to the Dezert Gilas (4.0 50+ women) 16 to 28. The Tire Biters team (3.0 men 65+) had its first match on Jan. 13 against the Vail’d Threat team in Vail.
