The Network works with Pima Animal Care Center, Pinal Animal Care Center and several rescue groups of homeless pets. We provide financial support for the medical needs and behavioral training of the pets to get them healthy and adopted. We have a monthly pick-up service.

Items we can take:

Clean towels, blankets, flat sheets, crates/pads, pet beds, pet food, water bowls, toys, pet medication [must not be expired], pet coats/sweaters, leashes, collars, harnesses, grooming tools, pet gates, Xpens, puppy pads, E-collars and training tools.

Items we cannot accept:

Comforters/quilted items, rugs with rubber backing, electric blankets, pillows or chair pads, mattress covers, carpeting, fitted sheets.

This takes place the first Friday of every month. Just email [email protected] or call 520-548-7861 to arrange the pick-up. Please contact us at least one full day before the requested pick-up date so that we can arrange the most efficient schedule. Just place it in your driveway by 8:00 a.m. on the day of pick-up and we do the rest.

New: Empty Prescription containers can now be dropped off at 63701 SaddleBrooke Blvd at Mezzabyte Computers suite U or Dentistry by Design suite M in the commercial center. Make sure the labels have been removed. These will be recycled by rescue groups.

Join us at [email protected] or www.sbpetrescue.com.

The next pick up date is March 1.

Donated food filled the pick up.

250 pounds of dog food donated to the Network

Karyle Steele

When Myla Hockelberg attended the Cowboy Cookout sponsored by the SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network in November, she was impressed with all the work the Network does to raise funds, awareness and material things like beds, blankets and dog food to assist homeless pet shelters. Last Christmas, Myla and her husband, Craig, gathered pet food to donate to the rescue groups supported by the Network. Many thanks go to those who donated along with Myla and Craig, Sally and Don Grimm, Debbie and Mike Heiberger, Pam and Mark Eckardt, Kathy and Alan Bomwell, Linda and Dale Landry and Anne and Leroy Barrett. Because of their generosity, the Network volunteers delivered over 250 pounds of pet food to Cody’s Friends homeless pet food bank.
