Pat Stead, 2025 Presidents Cup winner!

Throughout four days of play, Pat Stead led the match play tournament, winning the 2025 Presidents Cup. It was a well-earned honor. In talking with Pat, she said this is the first major tournament she has won. As many golfers know, it’s a difficult task. You are competing against friends, you must play no matter what the weather brings, and you must remain focused. Kudos and congrats, Pat!
As our summer weather begins, things are slowing down. Our spring tournaments have been played, and it’s time to say goodbye to our snowbird friends and neighbors. You will be missed, but we know many of you will be enjoying cooler temps, family, and friends. Stay well and travel safely. In the interim, we will continue our regular Tuesday play days and maybe even get a few chip-ins and birdies!
These past few months have been full of events arranged by our hard-working members and board, who continue to meet monthly. The next general meeting and luncheon is on June 10.
The LAGOS event is on Tuesday, Sept. 16. This annual event will be hosted by SBWGA-18 and is always a fun time. Details will be available soon.
