SaddleBrooke Line Dancing Club celebrates Valentine’s Day

Sue Robisch

The ladies of the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club celebrated Valentine’s Day at the Cadillac Chaparral on Thursday evening, February 15. It was a fun-filled evening with dancing to our favorite tunes and dining on yummy Cowboy Food. Our favorite cowboys (i.e. husbands) joined us on the dance floor for the Cupid Shuffle and stayed for a waltz and another chance to hug their sweeties.

The program was organized by our new social co-chairs, Jeanne Fernandez and Charli Jackson. What a fantastic way to start the new year! New officers on the dance floor included president, Shirley Miller and vice-president, Dorothy Wood. Diana Carbone continues as our secretary, and did not hesitate to show some of her dramatic moves on the dance floor. Yeah, Diana!

The evening was a great opportunity for our dancers to interact with each other, and we are looking forward to future fun and games on and off the dance floor. If you would like to join us, welcome! Learn more about the club at www.sbldc.weebly.com or contact Terri Gage at [email protected]. There is an annual fee of only $10 to join. We would love to meet you on the dance floor.
