SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club

They came—one by one. They came—the grave yard zombies, a wicked witch, a perky pumpkin, a heavenly angel, a scary spider, a happy hula girl and a few more eerie looking characters. They came—and joined as one unusual and mischievous looking group of fun seekers. They came—dancing, drinking witches brew and having a howling and monstrously good time.

What the heck is going on here? Oh! It’s just the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club having their annual Halloween Party.

A hair raising line dance was performed by six zombies: Charli, Dorothy, Kathy, Lynne, Shirley and Terri. They danced to the bewitching melody of Michael Jackson’s Thriller as the rest of the members watched in terror. It was a frightening sight to behold.

All members voted on their two most favorite costumes. The winners of gift certificates to the new restaurant in Oro Valley, Kneaders, were won by two of the zombies, Terri Gage and Charli Jackson. You can see them in the front row, middle in the photo. Halloween brownies, baked by Shirley Miller, were taken home to enjoy and share with their family. They were so delicious; I bet not many of the brownies made it to their front door.

Come join our gruesome gang of dancing fun seekers for only $10 a year. We have all levels of line dancing from novice to levels 1, 2 and 3. For information on our club, dance times, photos and more, check out our website at sbldc.weebly.com or call our treasurer Terri Gage at 262-8304.
