It was smiles and fun all around on July 15. Hosted by the Lady Niners, we had a great day making new friends and having fun! This nine-hole tournament was a mix of members from the men’s and ladies’ SaddleBrooke nine-hole leagues. First-place winners were Sue Schliepsiek, Karen Fisher, Bruce Andersen, and Sandy Wagoner. Second-place winners were Ken Ratcliff, Nancy Wyllie, Brenda Wilson, and Jay Hansen. Third-place winners were Tom Johnson, Geri Conser, Julie Klarkowski, and Dean Hood. Fourth-place winners were Linda Holt, Tom Cluley, and Greg Diment. Great playing, and congratulations to all. A special thank you to Event Chair Charlotte James and to the restaurant staff for the delicious lunch that followed our play day.
Did you know that our league has a new name? By unanimous vote at our June 10, 2025, general meeting, our organization is now the SaddleBrooke Lady Niners.
The Lagos event is on Tuesday, Sept. 16. This annual event will be hosted by SBWGA-18 and is always a fun time. Details will be available soon. Until this event, we will enjoy Tuesday play days and monthly “Make Your Own Foursome” formats.
