Well, SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch Senior Softball fans, here it is Feb. 26 and Progress and SaddleBrooke Ranch Roundup deadline time. You’ll be reading this just before our St. Patrick’s Day Tournament on March 15.

Yeah, all you Ranchers, in case you didn’t know, are welcome to come on down to the SB softball field, check it all out, and if you’re feeling like strapping on the cleats again, sign up.
Tournament Action
The St. Patrick’s Day Tournament is March 15. Erin go Bragh, neighbors (whatever that means). As they say in the old country, “Every man is sociable until a cow invades his garden!” Yes, on the 15th there will be three (maybe four) games, beginning around 8:30 a.m. and going until about 1 p.m. Plenty of softball “dramedy,” music, free eats, and fun for all SaddleBrookers who come on down!
Winter League Action
On Mondays in Recreational, the insurance giants Allstate and State Farm are locked in battle! Brittni Guttman-Allstate leads the way at 4-2 over Debra Miller-State Farm’s 2-4. In Community, Beyond Clean is cleaning up in the league at 7-2 over Ambient Air Heating and Cooling at 4-6 and Cactus Overhead Garage Doors at 4-7. Kind of a battle “for the cellar” there, folks.
On Tuesdays in Community, Cleere Law Offices is 4-2 to their softball partners in mayhem Dominick’s Italian at 2-4. In Competitive, Leah Kari Solutions is smokin’ hot at 9-1, with Concierge Heating and Cooling at 4-6 and Hughes Credit Union a distant third at 1-7. Trade rumors? I ain’t heard nuttin’ yet! And there ain’t much around the ballpark I don’t know! Except maybe what day it is.
Wednesday Community finally got some games in, and Healthy Skin Dermatology is 4-1 to Community Church of SB’s 1-4. In Sidewinder, KJK Insurance Advocates is 2-2, with Hardin Bros Automotive also 2-2. A shortened season battle!
Thursday Coyote also finally got some games in, with Absolutely Art leading the way at 4-2, Barron Electric at 3-2, and Canine & Co. trailing the pack at 1-4.
On Fridays in Competitive, Player’s Pub at 5-2 is serving it up to Bubb’s Grub at 4-2 and Andy’s Irrigation at 1-6. In Community, Ann Fraley-Long Realty is 5-3, Catalina Family Dental is 4-4, and Big Bear Garage Doors is in da cellah at 3-5.
Anyhoo, c’mon down to the field and check out the action. The softball junkies will be down at the field every weekday slapping Mr. (or is it Ms?) softball around.
