On March 5, the SaddleBrooke Adventure Club traveled to Eloy, Arizona, to sample the world class skydiving facilities at Skydive Arizona. It was a beautiful, sunny day with clear skies and just a light breeze; a perfect day for skydiving and the sky was filled with multicolored parachutes gracefully tracking toward the ground. One day later and high winds would have cancelled all the fun.
Four members of the Adventure Club were about to test their resolve by stepping from an airplane into infinity at an altitude of 13,000 feet. Talk about trust and resolve! Another three members were opting for a similar experience, but at ground level in the wind tunnel. All the flights went well and participants were enthusiastic about their achievements.
The Adventure Club is happy to report that the day started and ended with the same seven participants all of whom survived the outing in good shape and with much good cheer.
If you are looking for a different way to spend a day, come join the Adventure Club on its next event and get your adrenaline pumping!
