The Adventure Club will be holding its annual meeting at the HOA 1 Activities Center at 4:30 p.m. on November 14, 2014. All members and people interested in hearing about the club’s planned activities for this coming season are invited to attend.
The SaddleBrooke Adventure Club’s mission is to organize unusual participative events that encourage members to challenge themselves in doing new activities that many have previously dreamed about performing. These activities are suitable for beginners and experienced alike and are just plain lots of fun! A sampling of such events organized over the last few years include:
* Rope Climbing/Ziplining
* Rafting on the Salt River
* Indoor rock climbing
* NASCAR race driving experience
* Wind tunnel/Skydiving
* Orienteering
* Paintballing
* Horseback riding
* Bowling
* Outdoor rappelling
* Mountain biking clinic
* Soaring
* Go kart racing—to name a few
Members assist in leading selected adventures with professional guides retained as appropriate.
Our meeting will include the election of club officers for the coming year and discussion of events in the planning stages. Open discussion of other ideas for adventures will also be encouraged. At the end of the meeting a raffle of prizes will be held as well as free drinks and snacks.
Mark your calendars for November 14. For any questions contact [email protected].
