The SaddleBrooke RV Club has created a new type of trip called a “Follow Me.” Our members are encouraged to share their plans and offer to have members join them.
On March 1 a group of 11 RVs braved the high winds and “followed” Ron and Vicki Browne on their annual trip to The Springs at Borrego RV Resort. Visibility through the blowing desert was treacherous, but we made it, safe and sound.
We were able to get together for happy hour after our first full day there. It was a bit chilly, and everyone was bundled up. Activities during the week included pickleball, golf, exploring Borrego Springs, Game Night, and, of course, a potluck dinner. Some folks even went to a local charity concert to benefit Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
