The Republican Women of Pinal County met on Saturday, January 24 at the Activity Center for brunch and installation of new officers. The good attendance included many of the members’ husbands and other guests. AzFRW Regional Director is Jo Ann Evans. New officers are Janice Hacking, treasurer; Mary Ann Mehlhorn, first vice president; Barbara Treick, president; LaVerne Tucker second vice president; and Paulette Stark, secretary. Speakers planned for upcoming meetings are February 20, County Attorney Deborrah Miller on Legalization of recreation marijuana? March 20, AZFRW Scholarship Committee Lori Oien and the winners of the Laura Bush Scholarship; April 17, Pinal County Assessor Douglas Wolf on My property taxes are what? Meetings will be held in the Coyote Room of SaddleBrooke Clubhouse. No host lunch to follow in the Roadrunner. All are welcome.
