Shannon Martinell and Linda Shannon-Hill
There is no shortage of events this spring for the members of the MountainView Lady Putters. On March 30 we participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk to raise money and breast cancer awareness for the local Komen chapter.
On Wednesday, April 9 the MountainView Lady Putters travelled to SaddleBrooke Ranch for a putting event with the Ranchette Putters. Eighty-one women dressed in their pink putter’s shirts took over the 18 hole putting green. It was a wonderful day with blue skies and warmer than usual temperatures. Playing with new people was great fun and many new friendships were formed. Congratulations to the winners.

On April 21 we held our monthly luncheon which is a great time to socialize with fellow members and on April 28 we hosted the Quail Creek Putters for our spring putting event. The events we share with putters from other Robson communities are always terrific fun with luncheon, awards and prizes following putting. Our organization continues to grow and new members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining us please contact our Vice President Stef Modos at 468-2499. We are now on our spring schedule with two putting sessions on Monday mornings at 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. It’s a great way to start your week.
