Bonnie Barazani
It was May 7, two days before 127 neighbors were going to attend a catered dinner to be held in the Barazanis’ yard. A phone call came in—Carrabba’s Italian Restaurant said that they would not be able to cater the party.
Panic set in! Let’s see, there’s Costco or perhaps Domino’s Pizza. Cancel the party. No, not an option, as the tables and chairs have been rented and paid for. And then, the miracle. A neighbor, Rich Adinolfi, said, “I can cook the dinner.” And he did! Baked ziti pasta with a marinara sauce (one with meat and one without) and three sides of sausage, chicken, and meatballs. Neighbors came to the rescue with the rest of the dinner. And in the end, it was a wonderful celebration of the good life in SaddleBrooke. A good time was had by all, and the food was amazing!
