Pet Rescue Network Has Successful 2023

The Friday Quilters repurpose scrap fabric to stuff pet beds, a few of which are displayed here, front and center and at the back of the room.

The SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network had a banner year in 2023. We raised $25,000 in monetary donations with the help of our wonderful supporters in this community. So many pets have benefitted from your generosity and will continue to receive much-needed aid. But it isn’t just dollars that have helped. The first Friday drop-off and the annual food drive must also be acknowledged.

In-kind items are so greatly appreciated by the rescues and shelters. We would like to give a special shout-out to the SaddleBrooke Friday Quilters. These ladies repurpose scrap fabric from their quilting endeavors to stuff pet beds. The rescues scramble to get these beds on the first Friday, as they, in turn, give them to adopting families. These cuddly beds can easily be used for kitties or small dogs. What a wonderful group! We thank the Friday Quilters with all our hearts for their thoughtful craftsmanship.
