Excitement is building for the ever-popular style show and luncheon hosted by Chapter EP of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Join friends on Friday, February 24 to ooh and ahh over colorful springtime fashions from Soft Surroundings, enjoy a delicious Cobb Salad luncheon and listen to music performed by Randy and Christine Smith and pianist Carolyn Cochrane. Held in the MountainView Ballroom, the benefit will begin when doors open at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets for the event may be purchased for $30 at the HOA 2 Administration Office located in the MountainView complex. Proceeds will be used by the Philanthropic and Educational Organization to further the cause of education for women by providing loans, grants and scholarships for deserving high school students, women seeking advanced degrees or returning to college and international students pursuing higher education in the United States. The sisterhood also provides major support for Cottey College, a four-year women’s college in Nevada, Missouri.

Emceed by Fira Stout, the program highlights comfortable, colorful fashions in a range of sizes and fabrics from Soft Surroundings (La Encantada Shopping Center) modeled by Chapter EP members Vicki Graham, Kathy Coffman, Carolyn McCants, Kathy Ames, Bev Frazee, Carolyn Kelsey, Lynn Hobbs, Carolyn Reygers, Mary Baglien and Andrea Stephens. Linens and other products from Soft Surroundings will also be featured.

Co-chairwomen for the event are Carol Odell and Louise Fraser. For further information call 825-9592 or 818-0885.
