Partners Western Dance

Jane Gromelski

Partners Western Dance will still be teaching the Arizona Two-Step on Mondays thru April.

Our philosophy for teaching is we want you to learn how to dance. So we review. We make classes fun, because dancing is fun, so classes should also be fun. We are teaching social dancing with the aim to get couples on the dance floor. I have taught here in SaddleBrooke for 20plus years. I have sidekicks who help me. I am thrilled to see dancers I taught dancing and having fun with their partners.

On Thursdays, we will continue our Partner Pattern Dance classes thru April. These are similar to line dances, a series of steps that repeat. But, you do these dances in the Sweetheart position with your Partner beside you. The novice classes will meet at 6 p.m. in the Rincon room. At 7 p.m., we offer Intermediate Partner Pattern Dance classes. These dances are more involved, but we review every week. You can join the Partner Pattern classes at any time.

We, the SaddleBrooke Partners Western Dance Club, offer dances, with Wild Ride. We have a dance scheduled on Thursday, April 23. Tickets are $10 for Club members, $15 for non-members. Dances are held in the Mountainview Ballroom. Come for a concert, listening is fun, or come for the dancing. Wild Ride is enjoyable either way! I think they are the best band in Tucson.

We frequently have a free DJ danceon in the Vermilion room in the SaddleBrooke clubhouse. These dances start at 6 p.m. Membership is not required to attend. We will have more DJ dances in the summer months. Dancing is great exercise and helps build synapses in your brain. And you get to hold your Partner in your arms! Grab your partner, and some neighbors, discover the fun you can have right here on the SaddleBrooke dance floor!

Yee Haw!
