P.E.O. luncheon and style show set for February 24

Fashion, fun and food -— all on Friday, February 24! On that date at the SaddleBrooke MountainView Ballroom, Chapter EP of the P.E.O. Sisterhood will welcome guests to its annual style show and luncheon benefitting the cause of education for women. Soft Surroundings, located in the La Encantada shopping center, will bedazzle the eye with colorful clothing to welcome the spring season modeled by EP members.

Tickets for this popular event will go on sale on Friday, November 18 at the SaddleBrooke HOA 2 Administrative Offices for $30 a person. The price includes a luncheon of Cobb Salad, rolls, assorted beverages and cookies. On February 24 doors will open at 11:00 a.m. and food will be served at 11:30 a.m.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be used by the Philanthropic Educational Organization to help provide scholarships for female high school graduates and international students studying for advanced degrees in the United States. P.E.O. also offers loans and grants to women in baccalaureate and postgraduate programs. In addition, the P.E.O. Sisterhood supports Cottey College, a liberal arts college for women located in Nevada, Missouri.

P.E.O. chapters support the educational and charitable funds of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, but are not classified as charitable by the IRS.
