Did you once—-or do you still—-claim Chicago or its suburbs as your hometown? If so, grab your witch’s hat or ghostly attire and join your fellow Chicagoans for a night of fright on Saturday, October 31 at the HOA 1 SaddleBrooke Clubhouse.
This Halloween party will be the fourth event held this year of a very active, newly formed group. Previous events included a pizza party at MountainView, baseball social at a member’s home and a summer get-together at the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa. Since its inception last February, about 200 SaddleBrooke residents have joined the group!
Halloween festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m. for drinks (credit cards only) and socializing followed by a mouth-watering dinner at 6:00 p.m. of caprese-stuffed chicken breast or pan-seared salmon, both with side dishes and dessert of petite pumpkin cheesecake.
Warren Bonesteel, known as DJ Warren B and a popular entertainer at SaddleBrooke events, will keep the joint jumping. And there will be prizes for the best costumes (optional).
So how can you join in the fun? Mail or deliver a $35 per person check, payable to Jim Rayburn, to Jim’s house at 36220 S. Desert Sun. List your choice(s) of entrée on the check. Checks must be received no later than October 21-—but don’t delay. Previous events have been very popular. Your check is your reservation.
