2017 was a big year for GLAAS: Our organization has grown to over 115 members!

Members of GLAAS attended a holiday concert of the Reveille Gay Men’s’ Chorus and then celebrated with a dinner at Augustin Kitchen in downtown Tucson.

At its annual holiday party, GLAAS thanked its outgoing Board and welcomed its 2018 Board of Directors: President Jay CLary, Vice-President Jo Ann Ellison, Secretary Bonnie Buntain and Treasurer Barb Starrett.

Starting in January, GLAAS will have a monthly club meeting on the second Friday of every month. We start off January 12 with a potluck, games and fun evening at the HOA One Activity Center starting at 5:00 p.m. Stay tuned!

GLAAS is a club open to all SaddleBrooke residents, which offers support and visibility to LGBT people and their allies. Throughout the year, GLAAS sponsors educational forums as well as social events related to its mission of fostering tolerance and support. We are proud to say our membership is in excess of 100 SaddleBrooke residents!

Mission of GLAAS: “To use the power of community and camaraderie to celebrate the lives of lesbian, gay and straight people and their relationships.”
