News from the SaddleBrooke Squares

Tim Morsani

Most of the men and many of the women in The SaddleBrooke Squares began as sceptics; they were sure they weren’t going to like square dancing. However, the challenges of the dancing and the interesting, friendly people engaged in the sport soon won them over.

SaddleBrooke Square dancers had many titles – veterinarian, physician, test pilot, Navy officer, software engineer, music teacher, accountant, banker, attorney – the list goes on. The common denominators are the enjoyment of being with other people and a love of laughter.

The fact is, square dancing is probably the most fun you can have in public. The good news for people reading this article is that annual beginner classes begin January 13. The other good news is that the first two lessons are free! Watch these pages for news about an ice cream social to kick off the new year and allow you to get to know our club in a very informal setting.

Take a chance – worst case scenario, you’ll have a good time and meet some very nice people. For more information visit SaddleBrookeSquares.com or email [email protected].
