There’s a new Missions Ministry at Resurrection Church at SaddleBrooke. This one involves diapers and is recognition of the overwhelming need for diapers for people of all ages, young and old, in the Tucson area.

On Sunday, May 24 church attendees were asked to bring diapers to the Sunday service. The response was overwhelming and resulted in an area of the HOA 1 Clubhouse where the service is held being stacked high with diapers.

The new Ministry will be a regular occurrence on the fourth Sunday of each month both in SaddleBrooke and at the main campus in Oro Valley where diaper collections have been an integral part of the Missions program for a number of years. The fifty boxes of diapers collected from SaddleBrooke were taken to IMPACT in Catalina and the close to 5,000 diapers/briefs collected in Oro Valley were delivered to Interfaith Community Services (ICS).

Resurrection Church has an extensive Missions Ministry. In addition to IMPACT and ICS, financial and volunteer support is provided to Youth on Their Own, Primavera Men’s Shelter, Feed My Starving Children, Wycliffe Bible Missionaries Campus Ministries at the University of Arizona and the Christian Family Care Agency to name a few.

Resurrection Church at SaddleBrooke holds its all-denominational Sunday worship service at 10:00 a.m. in the Vermilion Room at the HOA 1 Clubhouse. All are welcome.
