Outgoing President Kay Sullivan and Gene Tomlinson
Kay Sullivan
The club wishes to thank Ric Nicholson for our new SaddleBrooke Nature Club logo. After many years, it was time for a new look.
After a brief business meeting to accept the nominees for the 2026 board of directors and announcements from the outgoing president, the December program, billed as “What Are These Holes in the Ground?,” began. In preparation, our local naturalists Jerry Schudda and Tom Dowell brought some creepy crawlies in aquariums for the 80 attending members to see. There was a rattlesnake, a Gila monster, a king snake, a gopher snake, and a pocket mouse. These are some of the animals that make those holes in the ground. Tom and Jerry gave a great presentation of the local animals we see frequently in SaddleBrooke.
Congratulations to the new SaddleBrooke Nature Club Board of Directors:
President: Ann Pizzitola
Vice President: Vicki Malueg
Treasurer: Riley Jackson
Secretary: Darlene Carlson
Director of Programs: Carole Chase
Gene Tomlinson was the raffle prize winner of the book A Field Guide to Desert Holes.
