The MPLNiners chose to name SaddleBrooke Community Outreach (SBCO) Thanksgiving Baskets to be their charity during the Presidents Cup golf event held at MountainView Golf Club. The raffle and cash donations benefited the SBCO Thanksgiving baskets that were distributed to needy families in Oracle, Mammoth, and San Manuel.

The MPLNiners are so thankful for their golf friends and the ability to give to their community. A check was presented to SBCO by the MPLNiners treasurer.

The golf event was held on Nov. 7 and 14, 2023, and was followed by a luncheon on the 14th when the new Presidents Cup winner, Caryl Dowell, was announced. The 2024 new slate of officers was presented at the luncheon and will be voted on later.

The guest speaker at the luncheon was SBCO representative Laura Pauli. She outlined what SBCO does for the community, such as the Food Drive, Teen Closet, grants for summer camp and activities, and scholarships.

All these activities are possible because of the SaddleBrooke community of volunteers.
