Community Circle Players (CCP) is always looking for new ways to entertain our SaddleBrooke patrons. For the Spring 2025 production, Tim Morsani is pushing ahead with Witness for the Prosecution, by Agatha Christie. When asked why he chose that script, Tim said, “Witness for the Prosecution has almost everything to satisfy our SaddleBrooke audience: a famous author, a great story, wonderful characters, the spectacle and drama of a British courtroom, a twisting plot, and an ending that Alfred Hitchcock would love! It’s no wonder that the film adaptation received six Academy Award nominations.”
Tim certainly has the experience of knowing a great play when he reads it. Many know him from the many diverse characters he has played: Father Drobney in Don’t Drink the Water, Walter in Cookin’ with Gus, or, most recently, as Sherlucky Holmes in The House of Agatha Mystrie. He has also directed some of CCP’s memorable plays, including The Outsider and My Name Is Herbert.
Tim is delightful to work with (I know from experience), and he will be looking forward to casting the play and staffing backstage positions. Auditions for all roles will be Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the MountainView Ballroom West. Please plan on attending both days.
Performances for the dinner theater with no-host bar will be March 29, 30, and 31 and April 2, 3, and 4, 2025. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the curtain goes up at 6 p.m.
