MountainView Lady Putters Holds Annual Registration and Luncheon

Ruth Sollin

The MountainView Lady Putters met for the annual board meeting on Jan. 22. Wearing their pink shirts and black slacks, the members of this ladies-only group met to discuss the 2025 events and picking a committee event they wanted to work on during the 2025 playing year. The committees provide all members a chance to become more involved with the club.

New members for the group arrived a bit early to participate in the orientation (a chance to hear more about how the Monday putting works, what their membership can provide to them, and how they can be a bigger part of the action for the coming year). Members provided their annual dues checks prior to the annual meeting. All members are given an opportunity to join a committee (some event-focused and some play-focused).

The meeting continued with the introduction of the new board members and a sincere thank you to those leaving the board, having fulfilled their service, followed by a huge round of applause. We look forward to 2025 as being the best year ever.

Eighteen new members for 2025 and all renewal members from the prior year put the MountainView Lady Putters at 105 strong for 2025. Due to some snowbirds just returning from their travels, we do anticipate additional membership numbers.

The Putters will be holding the February Founders Day luncheon on the second Monday of the month. With a rich history of 27 years, we will honor 22 of our past presidents.

If interested in joining the ladies on any Monday morning at the MountainView (SaddleBrooke TWO) putting green, check out our website at mvlputters.com for contact information. We welcome all ladies, regardless of their putting experience or lack thereof. All you need is a putter, a ball, and the desire to have a little fun. Go Putters!
