On April 22 the yearly Bring a Friend (Birds of a Feather Bring Friends Together) golf event was held on the MountainView golf course. The committee chose IMPACT of Southern Arizona as the charity for the event.
Barbara McClure, the director of IMPACT, was invited to speak at the luncheon. She shared a wealth of information about the needs of families, seniors, and young people struggling to find meaningful employment.
IMPACT was given a check from the funds collected at the event through a raffle and donations.
