The National Senior Olympics bridge event on January 28 was well attended. Participants received tee shirts and lunch with winners getting medals.
The January MountainView game players winning more than two games were Vicki Hanson, Midge Miller with Betty Edwards, Sheila and Jeffrey Lesser, Bob Murray, Darwin Afdahl, Jack Mayfield, Trudie Weber-Penta, Arlene Mayfield, Steve Sahl, Peter Godfrey, Bob Brussel, Betty Meyer and Sharon Wyles.

Another expert, Karen Walker, says you should discuss the bidding or play after you leave the table. She also says, after a disaster, concentrate on a straight-forward bid, no creative stuff.
We all have off days, losing concentration or overbidding, but that’s okay. Duplicate bridge gets the brain matter stimulated and we can always learn from our mistakes.
