So — it’s almost the end of the year and you are congratulating yourself on the number of times you have made it to the gym, your Fitbit has rewarded you with five gold stars for reaching your activity level goals and after your annual exam your physician has pronounced you good for another year. But are you?
Have you had your heart checked for its spiritual health lately? No? Well here is your opportunity. The Women’s Ministry at the Community Church at SaddleBrooke is presenting a two-day retreat that will refresh and encourage you for the new year.
Our teacher, international speaker Susie Gannett, will challenge us to examine our hearts and do some spiritual cardio to protect and strengthen it against attack and hardening of our attitudes.
The retreat will be held at MountainView Ballroom East on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12, 2016. On Friday we will meet from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and return on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dinner will be served on Friday evening and lunch will be served on Saturday afternoon.
The cost of the retreat is $50 and is inclusive of your meals. Don’t miss out on what promises to be a rewarding weekend. Gather up a few friends and share this special time together. Mail your checks made payable to CCSB to Vi Woodburn, 60948 Cantle Court, Tucson 85739.
Be sure you include your name, telephone number and email address with your registration. Should you have any questions, you may call Susan Rajca at 520-825-0224 or email her at [email protected]. Deadline for registration is October 23, 2016.
CCSB is an all-denominational group of believers meeting at the DesertView Theatre in SaddleBrooke every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome.
