Sonoran Desert Corvettes, Tucson was organized in July 2005 for enthusiasts to get together and participate in activities with America’s only true sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette.
It’s a social organization rather than a strict competitive group, with activities that are geared toward individual and family enjoyment. Club activities include monthly meetings, weekly Cruise Nights, weekend overnighters, picnics, road rallies, summer cruises and holiday get-togethers. The club also participates in area parades and celebrations and since our activities are family oriented, youngsters are welcome to join their parents in the fun. We are part of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC), Roadrunner Region.
Sonoran Desert Corvettes meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Comfort Suites on Auto Mall Drive.
We currently have approximately 80 members with a number that live in SaddleBrooke and Northwest Tucson. For additional information check our website www.sonorandesertcorvettes.com or call 520-818-3460.
