In 2012 four or five of us, all of whom were living in HOA1, started a group called Links Players Fellowship. The purpose was to provide an avenue for SaddleBrooke golfers to grow in their Christian faith through the great game of golf. It is now three years later and we have had a wonderful time, formed many new friendships and enjoyed each other’s company on the golf course. Our group has grown to 25 in number, but we have no one from HOA2 participating. That’s largely because our activities are on Thursdays, Men’s Day at HOA2. We would like to change that by starting a Links Players Fellowship at HOA2 in February.
If you are interested, please join us for our first meeting on Tuesday, February 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cactus Room of the MountainView Clubhouse. This invitation is open to both men and women. We will not play golf on this day, but rather it will be an opportunity to answer any questions you might have and we would plan on kicking off this fellowship (including golf) the first week of March.
