Line Dance Club Welcomes You!

SBLDC members celebrate spring with tacos.

Dawn Di Leo

On April 16 members of the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club (SBLDC) welcomed spring with a delicious lunch prepared by Pat MacAllister, Jeanne Fernandez, and Julie Kalar. Pat graciously hosted the event in her home and made all 30 of us comfortable at shaded tables outside or inside next to a picture window where we enjoyed our beautiful mountain views.

Earlier in the day, while many of us were dancing in the MountainView ballroom, Pat, Jeanne, and Julie prepared a taco bar that included beef, chicken, rice, and beans and all the accoutrements. In addition to an assortment of cookies, Shirley Miller provided her famous crème de menthe brownies for dessert. Soft drinks and wine rounded out the meal.

Our spring luncheon is just one of our many social events held throughout the year. We value these events as an opportunity to meet new friends and catch up with old ones.

SBLDC’s mission is to provide enjoyment in dance and camaraderie. All SaddleBrooke residents are welcome to attend teaching and dancing events. We offer four levels of dancing workshops and a lot of social and dance opportunities throughout the year.

If you are interested in membership or would like to sample a workshop, please contact the membership director through our website at saddlebrookelinedance.club. We hope you consider joining us.
