Anyone who wants to apply for a concealed handgun permit.

Anyone who is concerned about safety in his or her home.

Students will work from a book written by Ron which has hundreds of pictures that help make difficult topics clearer. Ron uses a Power Point Presentation of visual help, as well as total student participation as a teaching style. There is no test. The classroom part of the class has lots of gun holding and practice dry firing (firing without ammo). It will include many different handguns, some with attachments that students will also be educated on and have practice with, for example, they could learn to fire a handgun by itself, and also the same one with a Holosun hs507c sight, so they can feel the difference in handling, aiming and stability. You will have over a dozen handguns to try. This part of the class usually takes eight hours and can be broken into two sessions if necessary.

The second part of the class is live shooting at the Pima Pistol Club which usually lasts about two hours.

The next class will be in April; dates to be determined by the first eight people who sign up. For more information or to sign up for the class, call Ron at 505-469-4110 or email him at [email protected].
