The much anticipated annual 9ers Unite event took place on July 12. The event joins the SaddleBrooke Ladies’ Niners and the SaddleBrooke Men’s Niners and as usual the competition was fun for all. The game was a Special Scramble format and required each person in the four person teams to use two drives each. The men hit from the yellow tees and the women from the aqua tees. The winning teams were in first place, George Nersesian, Pat Avery, Dean Hood and Trish Behrens; second place, Walt Miller, Maria Byers, Stephen Pomeroy and Brenda Wilson and third place, Don Symanski, Sandra Wagoner, Ray Wisniewski and Char Crossman.
