Let us take this opportunity to acquaint our newer residents in HOA1, HOA2, The Preserve and The Ranch with Ladies Day Out and why we believe it is such an important event tailored just to the ladies of SaddleBrooke, their friends, relatives and neighbors.
In March of 2011, Ladies Night out in the ‘Brooke was born and was so successful that it has been an annual event. Vendors are invited to participate, paying a nominal fee to rent space to show their wares to our attendees. Many of these vendors donate a door prize that then is showcased among the many prizes available at a Chinese auction. All monies raised from the table rental charge, sale of the entrance ticket, raffle ticket sales and the cash raffle are earmarked for the chosen charity. This all started as a way to help fund the at-the-time, newly formed Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The Coalition was the recipient of the funds raised in the subsequent events and until they disbanded, was our charity of choice. After the first “night out” it was decided that the ladies really would prefer an afternoon event so Ladies Day Out was born! Last year, our fifth, the recipient of our efforts was SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue and this year we are proudly behind the SaddleBrooke Troop Support, an organization that provides comfort in many ways to the military in our area.
This year we are expecting many vendors offering wonderful opportunities for hostess gifts, family gifts or something just for you! You will be able to choose from jewelry, foodstuffs, beauty aids, sheets, clothing, and so much more.
Come with a friend or come alone on April 4. It is an open house from noon to 6:00 p.m. and you will be excited by all there is to see and buy. Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase and we guarantee you will be delighted you decided to join us. Tickets for admission to the event are $10 and can be purchased at the HOA1 Administration Office.
