SaddleBrooke Indoor Cycling’s new name is SaddleBrooke EZ Riders! The winning name submitted by Phyllis Stensland received the most votes and she was awarded a new SaddleBrooke EZ Riders tee shirt. The total sales through June 21 for the tee shirt fundraiser were $659. This amount will be applied toward the purchase of the three new bikes.

Since the Kick-Off for Bikes annual voluntary contribution fundraiser began on April 5 we have received $4090 from the SaddleBrooke EZ Riders. The total of both fundraisers will allow us to buy three M3 Keiser Bikes. Our goal continues toward Bike number four.

Those of you in our SaddleBrooke Community who would like to support us in our effort to purchase the next three bikes please send your check made out to SaddleBrooke Spinners to Suzanne Reagan at 37446 S. Golf Course Drive, Tucson, Arizona 85739. Please note that you are a supporter of the SaddleBrooke EZ Riders and if you would like a receipt include your email.

News! On June 7 Ed Snyder, along with Karen Cusano, David Palmeri, Joan Elder, Suzanne Reagan, Ron Reagan, Janet Springer, Fran Weinberg and Stan Strebig met with Terese Butler, vice president of HOA2, and the Fitness, Health and Wellness Committee to determine the status of the SaddleBrooke EZ Riders. It was determined that we should become a club and when that is finalized, by the submission and acceptance of that charter, we will become a club and will be able to move forward and purchase the three M3 Keiser Bikes. More on club status: When we are formalized as a club we will hold officer elections, collect small yearly dues and upgrade our club management tools and bike sign-up process. Current action: Dave Palmeri is working with Damon Williams, general manager of HOA 2, to complete the purchase of the three bikes.

Coming in August: We will start requesting donations from our supporters for the October 22, 2016, I Don’t Want It! sale. Emails and phone contacts will be provided at that time.

If you are interested in trying indoor cycling, held at Mesquite Grill Fitness Center, contact Dave Palmeri at [email protected] to be placed on the weekly notification list. There are six weekly sessions. Come join the SaddleBrooke EZ Riders for a terrific ride!
