Introduction to a brand new Duplicate Bridge Club

NW Tucson Bridge Club, Inc., a non-profit Arizona corporation (NW Bridge for short) is owned and operated by the players themselves. Beginning in early February 2019, NW Bridge will have games four days a week to start (open games on Wednesday and Thursday, limited games on Tuesday and Friday) at 1171 E. Rancho Vistoso Boulevard, Suite 147, Oro Valley. Fees are $8 for Open Games and $6 for Limited Games. We offer games for every level of skill, from rank beginners to Grand Life Masters, plus there are several excellent teachers who will teach every level of skill, from beginner Play ‘N’ Learn games to more complicated defense strategies every day of the week.

One of the club’s most experienced teachers is Barbara Feeley Sullenger, the Vice President in charge of bridge education. Beginning in February, she and other outstanding teachers will have classes at four different levels throughout the week so students can choose the day and level. All are welcome. Never played? Bob will guide you through your first experiences on Tuesdays, as will Joe on Mondays and Wednesdays. Have you taken lessons but need to practice? See Ron on Mondays or Barb on Saturdays. Want to hear from some real experts? Larry and Steve on Wednesdays and Paul on Fridays will challenge you. In between? Brush up your skills with Donna on Thursdays or Barb on Saturdays or practice competing with Joyce in March. Teaching staff includes college professors, real estate brokers, engineers, a physicist, a dentist, an MD and an attorney. And they want to hear from you. If there is a topic you want taught, they have the staff to cover it. For more information, please contact [email protected] or check out their webpage at nwbridge.com.
