Home—But Not Alone

Mahnaz Pourian, owner of Home Instead

Barbara Barr Bengen

So, there you are! Life happens! All of a sudden, you are having to make choices about care.

Come join us on Friday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. at the DesertView Theater to learn about some great options. Please note the time change, as we can’t get into the DesertView Theater at our normal time. The Wellness Integrated Network is delighted to announce that Mahnaz Pourian, owner of Home Instead, will be our presenter for December. She has information that you, or someone you know, will need to know about. So, please pass the word!

Mahnaz was a busy and successful pharmacist for 23 years when suddenly, everything changed. Her mother became ill and needed to move in with Mahnaz and her family in Houston, Texas. The family hired home care to support their mother’s medical and social needs. It was then that Mahnaz realized the critical importance of excellent home health care for seniors. After her mother died, Mahnaz left her work in the pharmaceutical world to work with senior care in honor of her mother.

Mahnaz chose to work with Home Instead because of its commitment to aging populations. Home Instead is the world’s most trusted source of in-home, non-medical care and companionship. Having created the industry in 1994, it now has thousands of trained, bonded, and insured care professionals through its extensive franchise network. Home Instead assists their valued clients with daily tasks, no matter where they live.

So, come join us on Friday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. at the DesertView Theater to learn more about the services of Home Instead. Everyone in SaddleBrooke knows someone in SaddleBrooke who needs some care options. So, tell your friends about this!

In addition to our monthly programs on the first Friday of the month, we also offer special small group classes.
