November
In addition to the regular emergency food boxes offered in November, clients received a warm, soft blanket for each member of their family, just in time for the cold weather. On Nov. 24 teen and Tri-Community Food Bank (TCFB) volunteers also distributed a full Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, stuffing, vegetables, pies, and other trimmings.
December
As in November, clients will receive their emergency food boxes and a full holiday meal, including ham, potatoes and gravy, vegetables, and dessert, distributed by teen and TCFB volunteers. In addition, a small Holiday Shop will be available two weeks before the date of holiday meal distribution for eligible clients to choose toys for their children or grandchildren.
