The SaddleBrooke Quilters’ 2026 raffle quilt is called Sonoran Starburst and represents the SaddleBrooke sky. With a deep, chocolate-brown background, the quilt is filled with brightly colored stars. The colors reflect our Arizona desert, and the quilt is a perfect complement to any Southwestern décor. The quilt can be used on a bed, as a throw on a couch, or even a wall hanging to show off those beautiful colors and stars.
The quilt was lovingly pieced by several Quilt Club members, many of whom are award-winning quilters. The quilt has been making the rounds at local craft fairs and events, showing off the talents of our own quilters.
The quilt will be on display throughout the SaddleBrooke and Tucson area until the SaddleBrooke Quilt Show on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the MountainView ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You have the chance to make this spectacular quilt your very own. Raffle tickets for the quilt can be purchased from any SaddleBrooke Quilter, at the Quilt Show, or by contacting Kathy Von Bargen at 208-413-2688, or you can send her an email at kathrynvonbargen@gmail.com. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Quilt Show. If you prefer to dine out, you can win one of three Dine Around Packages of gift certificates, generously donated by local restaurants. Look for the Dine Around article in this newspaper for more details. Proceeds from the Quilt Show contribute to the funding of our charitable and educational activities.
Mark your calendar for this great event and see the talents of so many of your neighbors come to life!
