Have Fun and Create Harmonies with the Barbershop Chorus

Bruce Kistler

Remember those songs you used to listen to or sing as a youngster? Your local SaddleBrooke Barbershop Chorus has kept the Barbershop tradition going since 1998. Barbershop music features traditional and modern melodies with tight harmonies in a cappella style. Yes, we do sing “Lida Rose,” but we also sing “Rock Around the Clock” and Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”!

The objective of the SaddleBrooke Barbershop Chorus is to share the fun of singing and listening to music in the Barbershop style. We sing for enjoyment, for local “sing-outs,” and for a concert each December at the DesertView Performing Arts Center.

If you are looking for a place to meet new friends and use your voice to make great harmonies together, we invite you to visit one of our rehearsals to see what we are all about. Our chorus meets every Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Agave Room of the Arts and Crafts building next to the SaddleBrooke TWO MountainView clubhouse at 38725 S. Mountain View Blvd. Join us! You’ll have a ball! If you are looking for special entertainment for a birthday, anniversary, or other event you are planning, please contact us to see what we have to offer.
